Well 1 Year on & what a year it has been, Neal & Fiona would like to thank all their regulars & locals for their support over the last year, without them we would probably have gone mad way before now! We are getting good feedback from customers with relation to the live music being back on at The Sun, it's been a few years and it's been good to see bands like Chainsaw, Desilva, Goin-Dutch, Contraband and all the others that have performed to an increasing audience.

Thankyou to all our customers and if you've not yet been to The Sun please give us a try and hopefully you'll return and become another of our regular visitors.

Established over 200 years ago as a Coaching Inn, The Sun Inn is situated within the picturesque Washburn Valley, close to Lindley, Fewston & Swinsty reservoirs. We are a family friendly pub with a large car park, a beer garden & childrens play area, we have Pool, Darts & a Jukebox with over 9000 songs, we also have a large dining area. We serve a selection of Real Ales such as Theakstons Best Bitter & Old Peculiar as well as Moorland Old Speckled Hen.

Neal & Fiona took over The Sun in January 2008, Fiona being a local lass was brought up in the village and worked here while in her teens, Neal from Otley, used to manage another local pub just down the road years ago, which is where they met.

Both Old & New Friends are welcomed !

We now offer recycling facilities in the car park for Clear, Brown & Green Bottles, Cans & Paper
